Lexi Top – Gold jacquard

Expressif il m’a semblé nécessaire de modérer la « brillance » du jacquard ainsi le bi matière est l’alternative clé que j’utilise souvent dans ce cas précis. C’est le cas ici avec l’insertion d’une gabardine noire pour les manches « tulipe ».

La couture est un formidable moyen de revisiter un modèle en jouant sur différentes matières de telle sorte à délivrer un style totalement différent !!! 

Pour vous le démontrer, voici les 2 tops Lexi et la magie des tissus fait tout le reste :

Et c’est clairement l’avantage du top « Lexi » bref de quoi s’amuser et se faire plaisir en fonction des envies et tendances du moment;))

Pour cette version, j’ai utilisé les pinces au dos présentes sur la version robe pour cintrer le top et laisser s’exprimer les manches « tulipe ».

When I love I love … So after making my first « Immaculate » Lexi top version in fleece jersey by The Sweet Mercerie, this sublime jacquard zig zag « gold » & black by Pretty Mercerie inspired this second « Lexi » top.
Expressive I thought it’s necessary to limit the « brightness » of the pattern as the bi fabrics is the key option that I often use in this case. This is here with the insertion of a black gabardine for « tulip » sleeves.

Level: Beginner – Timing : 1:30 – Cost: €€€

Sewing is a great way to revisit a model playing on different fabrics so as to deliver totally a different style !!!
To prove it, here are the 2 tops Lexi and fabrics do everything else:

And that is clearly the advantage of the top « Lexi » enough fun and pleasure according to the desires and tendencies of the moment;))

For this version, I used the sewing clamps present on the back the dress version for bending the top and let express sleeves « tulip ».
