FABRIQUEZ VOTRE MODE AUTREMENT

Jupe Highland

Tissus : T36 – Polyesther moutarde by Toto Tissus (3 M x Laize 1,50) – 5,99€/M et Jersey moutarde (80 cm) by The Sweet Mercerie (6,90€/M)

As you know, I’m a big fan of Dessine moi un patron for its “modern touch” and have the ability to dare models that differ including the “trendy detail”. After the Balmoral blouse and “cold shoulders”, Emilie knocked hard with the Highland Skirt by Dessine moi un patron !!! To be honest, I thought to myself, “oh la la is that this model is for me with my 1,61m arghhhh!” And I launched myself thinking of the high heels that I would associate and above these three floors ruffles gave me the urge to turn turn Skirt by Highland Draw me a boss;)))

For the occasion, I chose my favorite color of the moment: the mustard !!!! It’s a color that goes well with black or cream high;))) To have this beautiful grow it will take 3 meters for a UK8 and I unearthed this tissue fluid 150gr polyester fabrics at Toto.

Level: Intermediate – Timing : 4 hours – Cost: €€€

In the preamble, the Highland Skirt by Draw me a boss is a model accessible in terms of achievement knowing that explanations and diagrams are well made. So these are 3 half circles careful there is a side that is on the fold of the fabric. For hems, I used my serger Babylock for the rolled hem. If you do not have a serger, you will have a hem for each of the wheels.

To skirt the background, I used a Jersey end of the same color so as not to weigh down the skirt and maximize comfort. Also once you realize the skirt bottom, you will come sew flying one after another.

Once this step, you will come sew belt fusing beforehand for optimum support. And it will do more than to put the invisible zip back.

And that your Highland Skirt by Dessine moi un patron is over … And the flights you !!!! I am delighted this first test and I think repeat the experience through short version 2 flying;)))

Pattern: Highland Skirt by Dessine moi un patron (15 € in pocket)

Fabrics: UK8 –  mustard fabric by Toto (M 3 x Width 1.50) – € 5.99 / M and mustard Jersey (80 cm) by The Sweet Haberdashery (6,90€/m)
