There are some months I made my first combi bustier by Aime comme Marie;)) This year the combi is one of the key pieces this summer, in fact it is found in Sezane or at Mango (not far from twenty combi), is found in different variations! …Pending the Dominique combi by Republique du chiffon (thank you The Post; ((…
Well a compulsive urge took me (and when it is difficult to be patient !). So I thought you and especially THE pants cut long awaited namely Alexandria already declined by Aniline cotton and viscose by Mapetitemercerie … It’s a good thing: the bottom;)))
There are only up for which I really wanted to … braces And of course I thought of crossed straps Delphi dress. …
Finally, I have joined 2 favorite patterns by Named !
For maximum comfort and fluidity, I cracked this viscose printed by Bennytex ideal for this first combi « handmade »;)))

I will not go over the key points of design, reviewing Delphi dress and Alexandria.
To make a combination of 2 patterns, I preferred the zipper and why I left an opening on one side. For this it is necessary at the beginning to leave 5 cm unstitched starting from the belt on one of two sides of the pants (right here) and all of the same lateral side of the top to ask a zipper.
When planning the belt, I used an elastic 1cm vs 3cm vs Alexandria on my previous versions for greater fluidity and harmony with the top of the coupling. As you left open on the side, you adjust your elastic on your waist and you close properly either side of the belt for the attachment of the closure.
Moving to top, I kept one of 2 tops namely that which is not driving (non « layer »). Then I have sewn the left side matcher with the same side as the trousers;))) For successful matching, you associate the seams of the lateral sides of the top and pant (after having flattened seams) in order to make a single part.
For this first, I kept the original width of the top which need to adjust the width of the belt by making some folds equi distance. The advantage of the pleats they completely blend with the gathers of the belt resulting from the adjustment of the size with elastic.
Once the two parts assembled, simply place the zipper;)))
And now I hope that this mini tutorial without photo will be clear enough if not feel free;))))
