Robe Lola

For months Lola dress  waiting for me to take care of it … For this first version, I wanted to mark the occasion for a special dedication to Lola and of course her mom Julie alias « Jolies Bobines » 😉 ))
Congratulations Géraldine and Julie to dress Lola, full of details and make its uniqueness !!!
After seeing the beautiful variations of Alice alias Pad monkey or my girlfriend Severine, I chose the beautiful viscose Abstract Mountain by Cousette indeed printed is falling on this powder pink background;))) I take this opportunity Cecilia also commended for its collection wahoooo !!!!
Thus the fluidity of viscose perfectly suits Lola for the vaporous side;)))
In short, the combination of the two seemed as obvious;)))

Level: Experienced – Timing : 5 hours – Cost : €€€

In the preamble, the Lola dress  is a technical model and worked in terms of number of pieces especially related to two bands and the suggested back. I stress this point because I hesitated and ultimately it remains discreet bare back.
Above all, it is essential to fusing the two bands for optimum support. Given the printed expressive Abstract Mountain by Cousette, I decided to add a gray denim piping as a reminder to the grounds and to highlight the bands.
Before the assembly including the strip is relatively simple and it will be important to sew the piping tidal bands.

In the back, you will use a liner for the back indeed in my case because I was missing the main fabric.
The technique of sewing by the 4 pieces shoulders back is top for a perfect finish.

Second part: the made of the belt and skirt.
I advise you to make the first sections of the skirt in order to adjust better to the belt.
The key step: the gathers above the belt as these will determine the « bending » of the so belt size. Once your belt will be adjusted to your « right » size you can sew the folds of the skirt.
I recommend this place because the dress size slightly larger than the standard size.

The final step will be the installation of the zip on the skirt, the proposed technique is Geraldine top because it is easier and primarily provides beautiful finishes.

In conclusion, I must say that Lola dress  indeed deserves the many details that delivers originality see its uniqueness will ask precision and patience. Reach, I can tell you it does not leave indifferent;)))
