[item title= »+ English version »]Just a few weeks you’ve discovered my first version of the Montmartre coat by Aime comme Marie made from a mottled gray fabric by Pretty Mercerie … It made clear its full effect both on the cut, its sleeves slightly « bat » and above its shawl collar;)))
On the occasion of Christmas, my sister and my mom asked me a chic chic Montmartre coat ;))) Both have chosen these gorgeous « chevron » wool by Bennytex of Italian quality, one with formidable thickness and another « chevron » wool red and black … So hot for all 2 !!
Level : Intermediate – Timing : 8h for both – Cost : €€€
To review in detail the making of Montmartre coat by Aime comme Marie I invite you to see my very first version heathered wool.
I am just again congratulate Marie for the ingenuity of this pattern especially for the set of the liner. It’s a hell of saving time and beautiful finishes !!!!
In addition, the shawl collar is really easy to do and it is clear that it does its purpose;)))) To maintain the collar, do not hesitate to make a blind stitch for binding to the coat.
Note that the version for large and black chevron I stitched all around for optimal fit.
Ultimately, the step that prompted the most minute detail is in fact the realization of pockets it will arm you with your steam iron so that the liner does not overflow to the outside.
In conclusion, I am delighted this coat because it is generally easy to perform and may be declined at will according styles;)))
