Jupe Tulipe « Pied Poule »

Voilà quelques semaines, j’ai déniché ce tissu « Pied de Poule » chez Soie dit en couleurs : une mercerie à Lyon qui propose de belles étoffes de grandes marques. C’est ce bleu électrique qui m’a interpellé et j’ai imaginé de suite une petite jupe ;)))

Après réflexion, ce jacquard relativement fluide a inspiré une nouvelle version de la jupe tulipe by Dessine moi un patron. Aussi, je vous invite à revoir ma toute première déclinaison réalisée dans un jacquard plus consistant. 
Si vous êtes en quête d’une jupe avec du volume, vous ne serez pas déçue d’autant plus si vous choisissez un tissu relativement épais.

Le patron est à l’origine la robe « tulipe » by Dessine moi un patron. C’est clairement l’effet volume de la jupe qui a retenu toute mon attention. 

Tout comme la première déclinaison, j’ai choisi d’inclure un passepoil simili cuir sur les poches de telle sorte à valoriser l’effet « tulipe » et il constitue le détail « chic ». Aussi, j’ai à nouveau rajouté 5 cm car initialement elle est mini mini 🙂

A few weeks ago, I unearthed this fabric « Pied de Poule » by Soie dit en couleurs : an haberdashery in Lyon with chic fabrics from brands. It is this electric blue that caught my attention and I immediately imagined a little skirt;)))
Upon reflection, this relatively fluid jacquard inspired a new version of the « tulip » skirt by Dessine moi un patron. Also, I invite you to see my first version carried out in a more consistent pattern.
If you are looking for a skirt with volume, you will not be disappointed especially if you choose a relatively thick fabric.

The pattern is behind the « tulip » dress by Dessine moi un patron. This is clearly the volume effect of the skirt caught my attention.

Like the first version, I chose to include a faux leather piping on pockets so as to enhance the « tulip » style and is the « chic » detail. Also, I again added 2 inches initially because it is mini mini 🙂

Once made folds, I set up the pockets with the edge of pockets (never seen before) that delivers a beautiful finish pockets. Please refer to the explanations and pictures particularly for laying the pocket edge.

In short, the « tulip » skirt  by Dessine moi un patron truly offers a beautiful volume and the association with « Pied poule » is very chic. I like to wear with a short jacket;)))
