After Wenona shirt by Named and the Jolaine shirt by RDC, I was eager to test the Adeline shirt the latest pattern by Coralie Bijasson … Indeed, these patterns are always impeccably cut and a formidable simplicity !!!!
Adeline propose different options: shirt or dress with or without sleeves … Nice to cover any style;)))
For this first version, I chose denim chambray by Les coupons Saint Pierre for both the quality 100% cotton and especially the desire of a piece to associate with chambray trousers or skir… Enjoy coupons 3 meters at the incredible price of 15 €;))
To give it a twist and out of the classic chambray shirt, I accented with punches that combine well with the chambray color;)))
Level: Beginner – Timing : 3 hours – Cost : €€
Striving to realize your first shirt, Adeline is for you;)))
In contrast to my previous shirts, I chose to play on the buttons so I did not opt for the back yoke.
I remember a few months ago I had the obsession to mount the collar of a shirt. And I must say that the technique and explanations issued by Coralie you are « self confident » and this arrangement will happen in the best conditions as soon as you respect the indicated benchmarks and stitching.
Another technique: the slots sleeves will not be a secret for you indeed of the tab technique is easy to perform and provides a beautiful finish.
To give a touch of originality, I hesitated between embellished pockets punches ultimately I preferred to use as a button. Indeed Tint « copper » combines perfectly with the chambray;)))
So I asked the punches and sewn snaps (11.5mm) below in order to close. This is the step that will ask you the most time!
In conclusion, Adeline shirt will delight beginners and confirmed hurried !!!
Pattern: Adeline shirt by Coralie Bijasson (€ 15 paper pocket)
Fabric : UK8 – Cotton chambray 100% by Les Coupons Saint Pierre (60in x 71in Width) – € 15 for 3 meters.
Such a gorgeous shirt! Love your take on the classic blue shirt:)
Magnifique !
