You receive a small box by Pretty Mercerie (watch for the delivery ;)))) and once in the hands is simply a pleasure for eyes and touch … Among my 4 treasures o f fabrics, I decided to seal the fate of this printed full of fans on this “sand” background (spotted right out) combining navy and lavender colors… In addition to successful color combination, it is the both soft and smooth and it is certainly the latter amazes me to Pretty Mercerie … I am never disappointed because the fabric is up detailed photos on the website and the key value was a superior quality.
In the “Fan” wink, I chose the must have “dress with kimono sleeves” by Coralie Bijasson (I do not get enough;)).
Level : Intermediate – Timing : 3h (lasted overcasting) – Cost : €€€
Here is my 3rd release … when you love it does not count ! This is the fluidity of the viscose that inspired this new kimono dress identically my very first version “Birdy” or “Javanese” !! The fabric is slightly transparent so providing a background dress or dress lining with a very fine silk satin. I must say its sweetness forced me to be vigilant because it slides (especially since I did not have my central steam least so simple “flatten” the folds; () … Need for that to obtain a second skin;)))
Again it really is a model that I like for its cut and it leaves expression to all desires or not printed fabrics elsewhere to raise its numerous details : kimono sleeves, pockets without forgetting the triangle to the collar;) )
And all this in less than 60in of fabric !!!
Tip: One bias for the whole neck collar !
