Vive les carreaux !!!! Marthe is back :)))

Ainsi lorsque j’ai vu apparaître ce tissu ajouré à carreaux blancs & marshmallow by Pretty Mercerie j’ai aimé son imprimé … Une fois en main il est très fluide et légèrement transparent (mais reste acceptable grâce aux carreaux) j’ai imaginé une blouse “vaporeuse” …Spontanément je l’ai imaginé en blouse Marthe by Republique du chiffon, la valeur sûre qui offrira toute l’ampleur à la fluidité à travers ses basques ;)))) D’ailleurs, je ne me lasse pas de ma toute première version en soie étoilée Sonia Rickiel à revoir ;)))

Pour les personnes qui ne connaissent pas la blouse Marthe by Republique du chiffon, c’est le patron idéal pour les débutantes. En effet, il dispose de peu de pièces donc un montage simplifié.

Les 2 points forts de ce patron : 

– les manches “raglan” que j’ai valorisé ici par l’insertion d’un passepoil noir uni sur un imprimé “généreux”.

– les basques délivrent un style “vaporeux”. Compte tenu de l’imprimé carreaux, j’ai privilégié les plis au lieu des fronces afin d’avoir une continuité du motif carreaux.

C’est aussi un modèle qui peut être décliné en robe et il existe pour les kids ;))) Bref Marthe contentera toutes les “sewing addicts” tant débutantes que confirmés seule condition : privilégier un tissu fluide (popeline, polyesther, soie, crêpe, …)

I looked for my wardrobe  : but where are the blouses for this fall / winter ????
So when I saw this fabric with white & black marshmallow tiles by Pretty Mercerie & marshmallow I liked its pattern, key this year ;)) Once in hands it is very smooth and slightly transparent (but still acceptable thanks to the tiles) I imagined a “vaporous” blouse … Spontaneously I imagined the Marthe blouse by Republique du Chiffon, the safe value that will offer full scope to the fluidity through its “basques”;)))) By the way, I liked to wear my first version in starry silk by Sonia Rickiel to review;)))

Level: Beginner – Timing : 1:30 – Cost : €€

For people who do not know the Marthe blouse by Republique du Chiffon is the ideal patron for beginners. Indeed, it has few pieces so a simplified assembly.

The two highlights of this pattern:

– The “raglan” sleeves I valued here by inserting a plain black piping on a printed “generous” fabric.

– Issue a “wispy” style. Given the check pattern I privileged folds instead of the gathers in order to have a continuity of pattern tiles.

It is also a model that can be declined in robe and there are for kids;))) Anyway Marthe blouse satisfied all “sewing addicts” both beginners as confirmed only condition favoring a fluid fabric (poplin, polyesther silk crepe , …)
