La principale évolution est l’ajout de poches c’est une première sur Vanessa, car elles ne sont pas prévues. Pour moi, c’est le détail qui renforce l’élégance d’une robe ou jupe ;)))
As you could see, the “tiles” are among us this fall … After my Martha shirt in “tiles” print, I totally fell in love of the “true blue” rectangle by Pretty Mercerie so sweet and warm besides color though associated with blue and beige tiles … Pretty Mercerie is my place of loss I love everything everything everything !!!!!
I hesitated as to its fate, and I left the principle that these tiles deserved to be fully expressed in a style resolutely “chic”!
So you begin to know my habits: an “expressive” fabric combine a pure and fit cut;))) !!!!
So so naturally I chose the cute Vanessa dress by Republique du Chiffon … This is my 5th release !!!!! My favorite pattern for its clean cut and yokes according to your desires of the moment;))))
Level : Beginner – Timing : 2 hours – Cost : €€
I will not be on achieving of the Vanessa dress by Republique du Chiffon fear of being redundant I invite you to review my favorite versions : Silk & leather et Mahlia Kent , with or without patch;)))
If you opt for tiles fabric, it is important to check when cutting the lines on tiles follow the sake of harmony, both front / back without forgetting the sleeves;)))
The main change is the addition of pockets is a first Vanessa version because they are not provided. For me it is the detail that enhances the elegance of a dress or skirt ;)))
For that, I took a form of pockets on a Burda pattern knowing that the shape of the pockets is essentially identical on all patterns.
Tip: Add 0,6 inches more if you opt for a non stretch wool especially if you add pockets …
