SHORT PIPPA

Il est désormais temps de sortir les shorts au vue de la canicule et surtout l arrivée très prochaine des vacances ;)))
Et Emilie l’a bien compris et Dessine moi un patron nous offre THE short de l’été, j’ai nommé PIPPA !!! Ainsi j’ai eu plaisir à tester ce nouveau patron qui je suis sûre ne vous laissera pas indifférente. C’est un short qui se distingue par ses découpes en forme de pétales que vous aurez plaisir à customiser pour les valoriser ;)) Autre atout vous pouvez le décliner dans différents tissus pour des styles variés !!!

Ainsi je me suis amusée à décliner deux versions très différentes de façon à vous montrer les possibilités et rendus variés en fonction du tissu que vous choisirez 😉 Le point commun de ces 2 versions sera l’indispensable passepoil OR mat pour valoriser pleinement ces belles découpes : signe distinctif de PIPPA !

En préambule, c’est un short qui est accessible et ne présente pas de difficulté particulière en effet c’est un jeu de superposition et il se ferme avec un zip sur le côté ;)))
Aussi selon le choix du tissu, vous aurez besoin de thermocoller la ceinture ce qui ne sera pas le cas sur une matière consistante telle que le Néoprène.                                           Pour l’occasion, j’ai choisi deux tissus pour un style différent cad le néoprène scuba bordeaux by THE SWEET MERCERIE pour le côté “sport chic” et la dentelle FLEURS by PRINTSTAND tout simplement car je suis fan de ce motif d’ailleurs n’hésitez pas à revoir ma blouse Menthe à l’eau  😉 Pour ce dernier, j’ai utilisé un morceau restant et malheureusement il est en rupture de stock…Victime de son succès ;))

Je vous propose de vous décrire les étapes de confection tout en sachant que la seule chose qui différenciera les 2 déclinaisons est la doublure et thermocollant à la ceinture pour la version dentelle.

Commencez par le dos en cousant les pinces. Puis si vous choisissez d’insérer un passepoil, je vous conseille de le coudre préalablement sur les 2 pièces devant, avant d’ajouter les parementures. Une fois que votre passepoil et les parementures montées, vous allez réaliser les poches “italiennes” en commençant par le morceau poche biseauté sur le côté qui sera monté sur le devant puis coudre le fond de poche. La poche restant visible sera cousue au dos aussi il faudra coudre jusqu au repère indiqué pour le zip invisible.
Ce sera le moment de monter les 2 dos endroit contre endroit. Puis vous pourrez joindre devant et dos sur les côtés (hors partie zip) ainsi que l’entrejambe.
Puis vous allez attaquer la ceinture en joignant la ceinture devant et dos ensemble deux fois puis vous allez coudre les 2 ceintures endroit contre endroit. Une fois votre ceinture prête, il ne vous restera plus qu’à la coudre tout le long de la taille du short.  Pour finir, vous viendrez coudre le zip invisible à l’aide d’un pied spécial zip pour de belles finitions.

En conclusion, le short PIPPA by Dessine moi un patron est facile à coudre et il ravira toutes les “fashion sewing” addict en quête d’un short qui vous distnguera à la fois par sa coupe et bien sûr le tissu que vous choisirez … Je le garde précieusement aussi pour l’hiver ;)) Bref je me suis éclatée à coudre cette nouvelle merveille et il est tellement confortable ;))))

It is time to take out the shorts at the sight of the heat wave and especially the very next arrival of the holidays;)))
And Emilie well understood and Dessine moi un patron offers us the short of the summer I named PIPPA !!! So I enjoyed testing this new boss that I’m sure will not leave you indifferent. It is a shorts that is distinguished by its petal-shaped cutouts that you will enjoy to customize to enhance them;)) Other assets you can decline it in different fabrics for various styles !!!

So I am amused to decline two versions very different so as to show you the possibilities and made varied according to the fabric you choose;) The common point of these two versions will be the essential matt gold piping to fully appreciate these beautiful cuts : Distinguishing sign of PIPPA!

As a preamble, it is a short that is accessible and does not present any particular difficulty indeed it is a superposition and it closes with a zip on the side;)))
Also depending on the choice of fabric, you will need to thermocolate the belt which will not be the case on a consistent material such as Neoprene. For the occasion, I chose two fabrics for a different style: neoprene scuba bordeaux by THE SWEET MERCERIE for the side “sport chic” and the lace FLEURS by PRINTSTAND simply because I am fan of this motif besides n I have used a piece left and unfortunately it is out of stock … Victim of its success;))

I propose you to describe the steps of manufacture while knowing that the only thing that will differentiate the 2 declinations is the lining and heat-sealing to the belt for the lace version.

Start with the back by sewing the pliers. Then if you choose to insert a piping, I advise you to sew it beforehand on the 2 pieces in front, before adding the parementures. Once your piping and trimmings are mounted, you will realize the “Italian” pockets starting with the beveled pocket piece on the side that will be mounted on the front and then sew the pocket bottom. The remaining visible pocket will be sewn to the back, so it will be necessary to sew to the mark indicated for the invisible zip.
This will be the time to mount the 2 backs against place. Then you can join front and back on the sides (excluding zip) as well as the crotch.
Then you go to attack the belt by joining the waistband front and back together twice and then you will sew the 2 belts right side up. Once your belt is ready, all you have to do is sew it all along the shorts’ waist. To finish, you will come to sew the invisible zip with a special zip foot for beautiful finishes.

In conclusion, the short PIPPA by Dessine moi a boss is easy to sew and it will delight all “fashion sewing” addict in search of a shorts that distnguera to you both by its cut and of course the fabric that you will choose .. I keep it very carefully for the winter;)) In short I had fun to sew this new wonder and it is so comfortable;))))
