Jupe Chic is magic

[item title=”English version”]A few months ago Cloe launched its kits and patterns KitbyKlo and after testing the “coat Hot Stuff” kit with its dazzling lace I am pleased to share with you her last pattern : “So chic” skirt and I say (mostly) So original;))))
Cloe offers two alternatives: the pattern only and the complete kit includes the pattern, fabric, lining (here for the skirt) and accessories (zip and viseline).

Indeed, it is a “pencil” cut skirt so snug and above the details : this asymmetrical part that makes all the difference !!!

To highlight this detail, I wanted to play on two fabrics : a black cotton gabardine by Bennytex by consistently associated with a gray leatherette by The Sweet Mercerie. Note that it is important that it is flexible so as to facilitate the achievement of the tip regarding the asymmetric part.

Level: Beginner – Timing : 2 hours – Cost : €€

Before detailing you achieve the “So chic” skirt, I wanted to highlight the originality and “finesse” of packaging … Indeed, Kitbyklo experience begins once the jewel that nicely encapsulates the pattern. It is above all the pleasure of eyes before untie this square fabric that will take you to the pattern and factsheets. Great “finesse” and j’adoooore !!!

Once your case, you will just cut the pattern and so no need to trace;))))
You will have both drawings and explanations in fact we feel that Cloe grant a particular attention to the budding seamstresses …;)))
So you will just follow the conventional steps of mounting a skirt. You will simply assembling the asymmetrical part in addition to which you have to be precise to constitute the famous tip. For further support, please topstitching if you use cotton instead of simili leather (I did not realize for fear of marking the faux leather). Besides, you can also opt for the bias, great idea by Ateliers Vila;)))

Finally, you want to differentiate yourself with a skirt to the slim fit, the “So chic” skirt will be ideal knowing that she willingly wear with a small jacket or suit collar short as Bernadette vest.

Pattern: So chic skirt by KitbyKlo (14,50€ pattern only and 52€ including the fabric and accesories)

Fabrics: UK8 – Black cotton gabardine by Bennytex (40in x 50in Width) 5 € / m – Gray Leatherette by The Sweet Mercerie (20 in x 50in Width) – 13€/m
