Tissus : Taille S – Popeline coton noir 150 cm x 140 cm Moline (Paris 18è) – 10€/3m – Tissu voile plissé “Tie & Dye” 50 cm x 130 cm – 7.90€/m – The Sweet Mercerie.
Dress, skirt, jacket, … I realized that the blouses printed fabrics dedicated to Fall / Winter miss desperately in my wardrobe.
In light of my recent purchases (in “compulsive” mode), I will be able to find my happiness … The hardest part is to make a choice (it’s bubbling in my head too much cravings for only 2 arms;))…
Also different interpretations of Comfortable blouse by MLM patterns, particularly the variations of “lace” blouse by Alice-Coussin du singe definitely convinced me. Indeed, a “basic” easy (1:30) for only € 4 pdf, I saw the opportunity to decorate, enhance it by revisiting it with what I like …
Like Aime comme Marie patterns, the Comfortable will be joined the “IT basics” in my patterns book … Soon, you will discover another interpretation of Comfortable blouse ;))))

After a few scenarii and many fabrics tests, I decided to keep the front and flared neck and back to work by suggesting a pleated fabric sail “Tie and Dye” unpublished, he acquired a few months ago at The Sweet Mercerie.
So I cut into 4 pieces back (instead of the back cut on the fold) so as to double the two component parts of the back, on the same principle as my blouse Geometric😉
Once lined pans back, how to link the two sides, while involving the pleated ? I opted for the small “leather” detail as a small “hook”, I first stitched on the front and stitched on the back on the first to secure a certain strength (through leather is thick).
If you do not have through leather bias, you can also superimpose the two sides by shifting slightly with a few discrete points of sewing.
